La Gloriosa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Benedicto Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chicorita FC's Ulises Henrico got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jakub Kordalewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Gai in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Chicorita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Henrico to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Lope might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jakub Kordalewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. If Benedicto Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakub Kordalewski having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Chicorita FC's Joel Gregory was substituted for Filiberto Benitez. The crowd rose to their feet as Alejandro Madeo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ludvig Helberg. That made the score 2-3 in the 54 minute of play. Ludvig Helberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Estavan in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, La Gloriosa FC's goalkeeper Ludvig Helberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Dunixi. Alonzo Esquipula charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonzo Esquipula the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jakub Kordalewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Oso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of La Gloriosa FC booed when Chicorita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Henrico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludvig Helberg made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Joel Gregory sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the game, Chicorita FC's Wilfredo Dunixi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ludvig Helberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. When Baldomiro Acuña fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Gloriosa FC's protests and gave Baldomiro Acuña a yellow card for diving instead. After 98 played minutes La Gloriosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Acuña. After having played for 99 minutes, Angel Estavan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chicorita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Estavan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Chicorita FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Gloriosa FC throughout the match.
