Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Miguel Silvanito took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Jerzy Fleischer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horacio Udalaitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jerzy Fleischer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ladislao Horado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberdi AFC's Horacio Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Dziedelonis in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Eriberto Benvido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Horacio Udalaitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, Alberdi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Dziedelonis came free, but Horacio Udalaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerzy Fleischer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Udalaitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clodoveo Lazcano went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Benvido in the 38th minute of play forced Alberdi AFC's goalkeeper Horacio Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Alberdi AFC defense, Jerzy Fleischer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horacio Udalaitz. The Alberdi AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horacio Udalaitz should have stopped the shot. When Jerzy Fleischer came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Roca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerzy Fleischer couldn't finish the play. Horacio Udalaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Fleischer in the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

After 52 minutes, Ladislao Horado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alberdi AFC and the Roca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Roca FC booed when Alberdi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Horado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Eriberto Benvido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Silvanito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roque Cordeara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Miguel Silvanito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Cordeara was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute, Alberdi AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jerzy Fleischer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerzy Fleischer in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Udalaitz saved Alberdi AFC from getting behind. Igor Dziedelonis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Horacio Udalaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberdi AFC's Horacio Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Fleischer in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Roca FC's Igor Dziedelonis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Udalaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Roque Cordeara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Silvanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Roca FC's Jerzy Fleischer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Horacio Udalaitz. That made the score 0-8 after 85 minutes of play. Igor Dziedelonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Fleischer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Igor Dziedelonis came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Roca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Dziedelonis couldn't finish the play. Roca FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
