In the 19thth minute of the game Daniel Ospin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suardi's Lucio Cristos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucio Cristos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Bernaldo went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 27 played minutes Suardi got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Vermudo. After a defensive mix-up in Suardi's zone, Daniel Ospin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Cristos came out of the goal and Daniel Ospin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Ospin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Lucio Cristos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pericote FC's Rodolfo Bernaldo in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Suardi's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Bernaldo in the 47th minute of play forced Suardi's goalkeeper Lucio Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Delmiro Jakobe's late challenge caught a Pericote FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Daniel Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Rodolfo Bernaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Cristos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Suardi's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Bernaldo came free, but Lucio Cristos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Suardi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pericote FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
