After having played for 19 minutes, Anier Honesto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kenny FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Honesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Solís's zone, Danilo Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Nevada came out of the goal and Danilo Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Solís defense, Anier Honesto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Nevada. The Solís fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Nevada should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Solís's zone, Anier Honesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Nevada came out of the goal and Anier Honesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute Danilo Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Nevada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Platon in the 28th minute of play forced Kenny FC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Orlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Solís getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Clodoveo Frederico hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Cordearo got free with Wilfredo Orlin in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascual Errando to make the kick off. Luis Nevada was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anier Honesto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 58 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Solís's Osvaldo Platon got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Anier Honesto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luis Nevada. Anier Honesto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. When the match was over Kenny FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Solís throughout the match.
