Jose Foro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Bonadona, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Braulio Urtungo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Batán AFC's Manuel Nofre got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Guillermo Eskuin. Jose Foro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Bonadona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lourenço Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Guillermo Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batán AFC played a much better game than Garza and deserved their victory. The Garza players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
