Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Elorri in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Ofelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute Omar Elorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Ofelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match, Urbano Erramu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edelmiro Blanco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ramiro Ofelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 24 played minutes Italian Stallion Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Omar Elorri. If Urbano Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. Omar Elorri kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urbano Erramu made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Italian Stallion Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Cebo. 53 minutes into the match, Italian Stallion Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Erramu came free, but Edelmiro Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, Quiñihual's Sergio Haritzeder made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edelmiro Blanco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the game, Sergio Haritzeder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Edelmiro Blanco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Omar Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Ofelio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Haritzeder in the 84th minute of play forced Italian Stallion Athletic's goalkeeper Edelmiro Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Quiñihual booed when Italian Stallion Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Natal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Italian Stallion Athletic's Omar Elorri got a free kick in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Erramu in the 96th minute of play forced Italian Stallion Athletic's goalkeeper Edelmiro Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Quiñihual could leave the field as winners, despite Italian Stallion Athletic having more of the ball for most of the match.
