Ramiro Ofelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Fidele in the 39th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Urbano Erramu could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Filomeno Lehoi however easily saved by the left post. Urbano Erramu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Lehoi having to interfere. Filomeno Lehoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Haritzeder in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urbano Erramu to strike the kick off in the second half. Eliseo Santiago made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Justo Gabon immediately put the ball in play. In the 61st minute Severiano Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Ofelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Erramu in the 74th minute of play forced Sportivo Devoto's goalkeeper Filomeno Lehoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Estevon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ramiro Ofelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Lehoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Erramu in the 78th minute of play. Filomeno Lehoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergio Haritzeder in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Lehoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute Urbano Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Lehoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Lehoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Haritzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Sergio Haritzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quiñihual's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Haritzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Sportivo Devoto supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sportivo Devoto would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
