Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Astor Salamon made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Astor Salamon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Laurentzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Chacarita FC's goalkeeper Feliberto Iraido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Casado. Palmeiras's Paulo Casado got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Salamon came free, but Isidoro Laurentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Otsando to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Laurentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Salamon in the 22nd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Chacarita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Casado came free, but Feliberto Iraido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Paulo Casado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Feliberto Iraido, 1-2. A collision led to Palmeiras getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Alejandro Diaz hit a great ball. In the 37th match minute, Chacarita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Maore to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Iraido. Feliberto Iraido made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Paulo Casado sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Casado to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Chacarita FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Petrigai. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliseo Petrigai kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isidoro Laurentzi. That made the score 1-3 in the 54 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Casado in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliberto Iraido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliseo Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Laurentzi having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Luciano Maore took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Isidoro Laurentzi to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Palmeiras's Isidoro Laurentzi got control of the ball when Eliseo Petrigai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chacarita FC's Feliberto Iraido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Casado in the 76th minute of play. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Chacarita FC. Rafael Senon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isidoro Laurentzi. 1-5. Astor Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Laurentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Salamon, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. In the 99th minute of the match Chacarita FC got a corner. Palmeiras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafael Senon ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Palmeiras fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chacarita FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
