The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiburcio Tadzio got free with Zygmunt Zabrzeski in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the game, Winterfell FC's Tiburcio Tadzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zygmunt Zabrzeski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience held their breath when Angel Neron in the 33rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Zygmunt Zabrzeski's left hand side. After 34 played minutes Ferrocarril Sur got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Geofredo. In the 45th minute Seguinus Roces shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Zabrzeski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiburcio Tadzio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Winterfell FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Honorato Lartaun hit a great ball. Zygmunt Zabrzeski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seguinus Roces in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seguinus Roces in the 64th minute of play forced Ferrocarril Sur's goalkeeper Zygmunt Zabrzeski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferrocarril Sur's Zygmunt Zabrzeski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Tadzio in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Severino Urtungo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winterfell FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Zygmunt Zabrzeski came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Winterfell FC's Tiburcio Tadzio. But to his dismay, Tiburcio Tadzio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Seguinus Roces recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Winterfell FC's Seguinus Roces nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zygmunt Zabrzeski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Godfredo Valiente kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Tiburcio Tadzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that Winterfell FC were the better team. Winterfell FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
