But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pompiliu Hurmuzache couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Frisco in the 18th minute of play forced Caballito Juniors's goalkeeper Armando Sal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pompiliu Hurmuzache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Evelio Sabin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Frisco in the 30th minute of play forced Caballito Juniors's goalkeeper Armando Sal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Sal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Sayvion in the 34th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Evaristo Sayvion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lemonpai and the Caballito Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lemonpai's Evaristo Sayvion got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Caballito Juniors booed when Lemonpai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caballito Juniors's Armando Sal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Caballito Juniors from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melquiades Frisco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Juvenal during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Sebastian Froila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caballito Juniors's Armando Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Frisco in the 66th minute of play. Armando Sal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Frascuelo in the 69th minute of the match. Sebastian Froila charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Froila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Armando Sal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Frisco in the 79th minute of play. Pompiliu Hurmuzache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Sal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Frascuelo in the 84th minute of play. Sebastian Froila kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Armando Sal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Frisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Caballito Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Sayvion came free, but Armando Sal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caballito Juniors's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Lemonpai had won, even though Caballito Juniors had held more of the ball.
