Frontera's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ignacio Rufo in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Danish Seng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yiğit Can Akbayrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norberto Nevada was the one to do the kick off. Yiğit Can Akbayrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kázmér Sárközi in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Chachapoyas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Bautista to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Kázmér Sárközi took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Yiğit Can Akbayrak to make any attempt to save it. Kázmér Sárközi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiğit Can Akbayrak having to interfere. The supporters of Frontera booed when Chachapoyas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justo Maule kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Yiğit Can Akbayrak made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Norberto Nevada sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th match minute, Frontera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Rufo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Tajo in the 91st minute of play forced Frontera's goalkeeper Teobaldo Eriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Chachapoyas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Frontera were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
