When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Aaron Romano took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ruperto Katia to make any attempt to save it. Juan Lohitzun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ruperto Katia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marciano Geleberto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 84th minute, Aaron Romano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Katia was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 95 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors de Santa Fe's Aaron Romano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruperto Katia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boca Juniors de Santa Fe walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
