Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eleuterio Guzman in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albert Volz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Samuel Arnas could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Albert Volz however easily saved by the left post. AMG's Eleuterio Guzman was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 12th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Arnaldo Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Eleuterio Guzman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vladimiro Cebo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorato Bitxintxo went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the game, Alumni S.C.'s Honorato Bitxintxo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimiro Cebo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Vladimiro Cebo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Bitxintxo in the 47th minute of the match. The supporters of Alumni S.C. booed when AMG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimeno Playo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Cebo was a little too slow when Jimeno Playo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 57th minute, Marco Chano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vladimiro Cebo. The goal made the score 1-5. Baldomero Gilesindo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Alumni S.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Inocencio Viviano hit a great ball. Vladimiro Cebo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Bitxintxo in the 67th minute of the match. Albert Volz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Sarracino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th match minute, Alumni S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Ezkerra to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Eleuterio Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Volz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Honorato Bitxintxo took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Vladimiro Cebo to make any attempt to save it. Jimeno Playo scored 1-8 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladimiro Cebo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaldo Nevada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Albert Volz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Luisito Sarracino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AMG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-8. Eleuterio Guzman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alumni S.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
