Cogote's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Urbez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfredo Valentine made a kick off. If Patricio Silvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Valentine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cogote's goalkeeper Feliberto Fanuco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Feliberto Fanuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Dominic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cogote's Feliberto Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Erlantz in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Freyre's goalkeeper Vladimír Sebera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benito Eguzki. A collision led to Freyre getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mateo Grabiel hit a great ball. After 96 played minutes, Cogote's Michel Hård shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vladimír Sebera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cogote reached it. Abel Dominic kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Freyre had won after a very even match.
