After a rather tough play, Rinconada AFC's Baldomero Rafe got a free kick in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Rinconada AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Abaurre came free, but Angel Cordario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Abaurre in the 20th minute of play. Angel Cordario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Perico, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Rinconada AFC's Danilo Elixio got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angel Cordario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Abaurre in the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rinconada AFC's zone, Higinio Dolcet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Cordario came out of the goal and Higinio Dolcet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anibal Dalmu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Elixio in the 35th minute of the match. OLIMPO FC's Anibal Dalmu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save OLIMPO FC from getting a goal against them. Danilo Elixio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Dalmu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Elixio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Andres Baladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alejo Abaurre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Andres Baladi notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of OLIMPO FC's Anibal Dalmu. Anibal Dalmu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute, Andres Baladi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danilo Elixio might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Dalmu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Elixio ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 75 minutes, Eustacio Perico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OLIMPO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Perico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabricio Chayo charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabricio Chayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rinconada AFC! Eustacio Perico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Cordario having to interfere. Alejo Abaurre was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. OLIMPO FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Rinconada AFC booed when OLIMPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Timo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Alejo Abaurre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Cordario was relentless in the 99th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched OLIMPO FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
