An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Jon in the 6th minute of play forced CUBA FC's goalkeeper Braulio Celipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Papo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Braulio Celipe came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Papo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Cleto Urtsua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Braulio Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Haimar hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The Taffa Team fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Taffa Team's Arnoldo Paskal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Conrado Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot. CUBA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Austin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Elixio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in CUBA FC's zone, Joel Papo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Celipe came out of the goal and Joel Papo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernabe Belo charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernabe Belo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Bernabe Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Felipe Donio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Celipe was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Joel Papo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Papo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When Delmiro Rufio fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CUBA FC's protests and gave Delmiro Rufio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, CUBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Rufio to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Arnoldo Paskal made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Cleto Urtsua cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Braulio Celipe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emanuel Haimar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CUBA FC! Braulio Celipe had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Arturo Jon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a little luck, Taffa Team's Victorino Elixio got control of the ball when Conrado Austin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Braulio Celipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Papo in the 67th minute of play. Joel Papo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Braulio Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Joel Papo notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of CUBA FC's Braulio Celipe. Braulio Celipe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 79 played minutes Taffa Team got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Berto. Cleto Urtsua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Celipe having to interfere. Taffa Team walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
