The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Peyo during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marco Peyo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Raul Lertxun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Zacarias Tibalt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Segundo Berdoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Zacarias Tibalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, NIKO FC's goalkeeper Segundo Berdoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Tibalt. Raul Lertxun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, NIKO FC's Gualterio Umea got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Zacarias Tibalts short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Segundo Berdoi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 35 played minutes NIKO FC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Curcio. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romulo Peruxu during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of NIKO FC booed when Antelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Peruxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes Antelo got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Peruxu. 45 minutes into the match, NIKO FC's Ramiro Martxot broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Saul Gilabert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Enzo Ixona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albano Bartoli to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Tibalt in the 54th minute of play forced NIKO FC's goalkeeper Segundo Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Raul Lertxun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albano Bartoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Ixona having to interfere. Saul Gilabert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Enzo Ixona made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Raul Lertxun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Lertxun in the 74th minute of play forced NIKO FC's goalkeeper Segundo Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Albano Bartoli managed to get in a good position for a shot. NIKO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Bartoli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Ixona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raul Lertxun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Gilabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 87 minutes into the match, NIKO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Tibalt came free, but Segundo Berdoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Romulo Peruxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Peruxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Segundo Berdoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enzo Ixona made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Saul Gilabert sent off a good shot on target. NIKO FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
