In the 13th match minute, La Paternal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Tabor to maneuver through the defense. Marko Hedberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Florian in the 15th minute of play. Ivan Florian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes La Paternal got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Shantala. The supporters of ALMAFUERTE booed when La Paternal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Abaunza didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Yiğit Demiray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ALMAFUERTE's Fulgencio Nesto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carlos Millrick but with some difficulty. Marko Hedberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Florian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yiğit Demiray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Ivan Florian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marko Hedberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 46th match minute, ALMAFUERTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Maria to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonel Barea was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th minute, Leonel Barea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marko Hedberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Florian in the 70th minute of play. Samuel Shantala struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Marko Hedberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Paternal. In the 80thth minute of the game Leonel Barea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Paternal's Carlos Millrick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yiğit Demiray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 minutes of play, La Paternal's Ivan Florian made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marko Hedberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the match, ALMAFUERTE's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Shantala came free, but Marko Hedberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute of the match La Paternal got a corner. ALMAFUERTE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Melquiades Barto ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on La Paternal's corner Melquiades Barto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marko Hedberg quite easily take care of the ball.
