Aureliano Laurgain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Franco in the 39th minute of play. Narciso Javiar struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Omar Ramirez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nautico Santo Tomé. In the 44th minute Nautico Santo Tomé were awarded a corner. Benjamin Poncio went to the cornerflag to take it. 47 minutes into the match, Mauro Muno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Laurgain. Nautico Santo Tomé's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Muno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Franco in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aureliano Laurgain saved Nautico Santo Tomé from getting behind. In the 57th minute of the match RULE F.C got a corner. Nautico Santo Tomé's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prospero Xabat ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Prospero Xabat almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nautico Santo Tomé's Aureliano Laurgain did a great save. Melchor Berdoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Laurgain having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Lain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Ramirez. RULE F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Lain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. In the 67th match minute, Nautico Santo Tomé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Azubeli to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Franco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Aureliano Laurgain when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Valentin Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RULE F.C's Lorenzo Silvanito got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melchor Berdoi kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Nautico Santo Tomé fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. RULE F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
