Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guido Berdaitz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Langueyú AFC's Benicio Santikurtz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Javiar in the 3rd minute of play. Guido Berdaitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Laurgain read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Narciso Javiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Langueyú AFC's Benicio Santikurtz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 played minutes Nautico Santo Tomé got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Beturian. When Rodrigo Lain came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Nautico Santo Tomé fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Lain couldn't finish the play. If Rodrigo Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Javiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Benicio Santikurtz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Javiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benicio Santikurtz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Javiar ran back to his position shaking his head. Aureliano Laurgain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Rosalio in the 36th minute of the match. Guido Berdaitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aureliano Laurgain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Berdaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. If Guido Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Berdaitz got free with Aureliano Laurgain in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benicio Santikurtz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Javiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Langueyú AFC's zone, Rodrigo Lain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Santikurtz came out of the goal and Rodrigo Lain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Nautico Santo Tomé's Narciso Javiar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benicio Santikurtz. That made the score 0-1 after 67 minutes of play. 70 minutes into the match, Langueyú AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Javiar came free, but Benicio Santikurtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Narciso Javiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Beturian during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 97 played minutes Nautico Santo Tomé got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Beturian. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nautico Santo Tomé eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
