After a defensive mix-up in Quichagua's zone, Ismael Fiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Reno came out of the goal and Ismael Fiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Saturnino Argenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 14 in the game by Saturnino Argenis from a close distance when the talented Dario Reno managed to make a qualified save. Quichagua's players were relieved. 15 minutes into the match, Quichagua's goalkeeper Dario Reno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonifacio Roderigo. When Casimiro Cambranes came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Quichagua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Cambranes couldn't finish the play. Ismael Fiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Reno having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ARA SAN JUAN's Jimeno Millano got a free kick in the 24th minute. Saturnino Argenis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Dario Reno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Argenis in the 34th minute of play forced Quichagua's goalkeeper Dario Reno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Argenis in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Reno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Quichagua's zone, Ambrosio Itzaina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Reno came out of the goal and Ambrosio Itzaina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernan Emenon kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Argenis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Saturnino Argenis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quichagua's Dario Reno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Quichagua's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Fiz came free, but Dario Reno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Saturnino Argenis put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dario Reno. Freddy Rito lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Quichagua booed when ARA SAN JUAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quichagua's Arnaldo Baladi got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jimeno Millano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jimeno Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Fiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dario Reno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Fiz ran back to his position shaking his head. Alejandro Frantzes kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Dario Reno came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by ARA SAN JUAN's Bobby Sall. But to his dismay, Bobby Sall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ismael Fiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Reno having to interfere. Bonifacio Roderigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Dario Reno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Reno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Fiz in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Ismael Fiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ARA SAN JUAN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Ismael Fiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Dario Reno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quichagua's goalkeeper Dario Reno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the ARA SAN JUAN players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
