Osvaldo Gonsalve charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Nottingham Prisa booed when Club Altletico Batán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Eloy Cuartio made the kick off in the second half. Club Altletico Batán's Roque Ado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Mincho in the 61st minute of play. After 65 played minutes Clodoveo Mincho rounded Club Altletico Batán's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Lázaro Bernabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Ado having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Lázaro Bernabel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nottingham Prisa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Bernabel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Mincho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roque Ado. Club Altletico Batán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Mincho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 93 minutes into the match, Club Altletico Batán's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Bernabel came free, but Roque Ado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Club Altletico Batán's Roque Ado got control of the ball when Clodoveo Mincho tried to sneak it across the goal line.
