Paulino Tipi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Polentzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Paulino Tipi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corbett's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Tipi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Polentzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Tipi in the 29th minute of play forced Sinaloa Cartel Fc's goalkeeper Santiago Polentzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute Nemesio Rexino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Polentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes of play, Corbett's Paulino Tipi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Polentzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santiago Polentzi was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Nemesio Rexino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nemesio Rexino really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Ubaldo Sansone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Polentzi having to interfere. Paulino Tipi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Polentzi having to make a save. Santiago Polentzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Merexildo in the 70th minute of play. Blas Merexildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Polentzi having to interfere. Paulino Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Ubaldo Sansone reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santiago Polentzi. The goal made the score 0-5. Paulino Tipi in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santiago Polentzi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Gregorio Ramond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Corbett's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Cordario came free, but Elvio Intxixu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Cordario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blas Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Santiago Polentzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Corbett could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sinaloa Cartel Fc throughout the match.
