Spectators: 6638 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 0) Sepulturas FC's Mariano Xabier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Xabier in the 3rd minute of play forced Merced FC's goalkeeper Anier Taurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merced FC's Mario Chuan suffered a concussion in the 7th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. In the 8th minute, Gustavo Esquipula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nunez Porfirio hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The long shot by Santos Montay in the 13th minute really tested Esteban Erauso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Aristides Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Esteban Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Sepulturas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Eztebe to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Lazcano got free with Esteban Erauso in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esteban Erauso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albino Francesco's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. If Albino Francesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Francesco in the 39th minute of play. Aristides Lazcano might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteban Erauso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristides Lazcano ran back to his position shaking his head. Albino Francesco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albino Francesco to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Calisto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Merced FC's Armando Delfino got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Aristides Lazcano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Policarpio kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Esteban Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Lazcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute of the match, Arnaldo Calisto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anier Taurino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Albino Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Esteban Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Calisto kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Aristides Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Aristides Lazcano in the 78th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 80th minute Aquilino Eztebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Taurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albino Francesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Erauso having to interfere. Sepulturas FC's Esteban Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Francesco in the 84th minute of play. After 91st play minutes Aristides Lazcano shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Esteban Erauso and just under the crossbar into goal. After 94 played minutes Sepulturas FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Xabier.
