Spectators: 6624 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1624, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santos Montay took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roque Raphael. Medanitos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Merced FC's Armando Delfino got a free kick in the 17th minute. Anier Taurino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Belarmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Agustin Ciceron made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Merced FC's Cesar Oliverio. Roque Raphael made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Aristides Lazcano sent off a good shot on target. Roque Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Policarpio, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With an all-out effort, Merced FC's Roque Raphael threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albino Francesco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anier Taurino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 48 minutes into the match, Merced FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Quico came free, but Anier Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Medanitos FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albino Francesco was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Merced FC's goalkeeper Anier Taurino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeo Belarmo. Anier Taurino made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Tadeo Belarmo sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Medanitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Francesco came free, but Roque Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Taurino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Quico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Ler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Anier Taurino made a huge save. The attack was good, but when Blas Quico in the 65th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 68th minute of the match Ramiro Efraim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anier Taurino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Albino Francesco took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roque Raphael. Roque Raphael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Medanitos FC's Roque Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Lazcano in the 77th minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Albino Francesco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Medanitos FC's Roque Raphael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramiro Efraim charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Efraim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ramiro Efraim kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Merced FC's Santos Montay couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Medanitos FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Albino Francesco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merced FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Francesco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Raphael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anier Taurino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Quico in the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Medanitos FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Merced FC.
