In the 4thth minute of the game Paulo José Toscano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Miguel Veto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Severiano Ofelio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adriana Felipo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jiang Xi Lei sped through Boca Juniors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miguel Veto. Gogo Maraman's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gogo Maraman helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes INTER got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Maraman. INTER's Adriana Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Cerilo in the 13th minute of play. Miguel Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Toscano in the 15th minute of play. After 20 played minutes INTER got a freekick which was hit by Amador Neron. In the 23rd match minute, INTER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Neron to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Maraman came free, but Miguel Veto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Cerilo's late challenge caught a INTER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cayetano Cerilo helped the player get up and apologised. Jiang Xi Lei took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Veto. Miguel Veto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo José Toscano in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Veto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boca Juniors's Miguel Veto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Maraman in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Paulo José Toscano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Veto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Horado was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Gogo Maraman put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Miguel Veto. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Miguel Veto got control of the ball when Christian Horado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Veto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Horado went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. The supporters of INTER booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Cerilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th play minute Christian Horado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Miguel Veto. 1-7. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Paulo José Toscano 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-9. Christian Horado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Veto having to make a save. Christian Horados short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Miguel Veto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Christian Horado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Miguel Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded INTER left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Boca Juniors.
