In the 17th minute, Cosme Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pescadores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Benjamin Hitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Cerilo in the 24th minute of the match. If Leon Cresitobalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, Pescadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Ongile to maneuver through the defense. Leon Cresitobalo took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Veto. Miguel Veto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cosme Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Miguel Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alejo Pacorro hit a great ball. Boca Juniors's Miguel Veto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Cresitobalo in the 42nd minute of play. If Leon Cresitobalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Pescadores were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon Cresitobalo to make the kick off. Lázaro Sendoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Veto having to interfere. If Cosme Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Cresitobalo in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Veto saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Miguel Veto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melquiades Belmiro. Miguel Veto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Weterio in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Cosme Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Veto came out of the goal and Cosme Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Pescadores booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Niguel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Boca Juniors! 78 minutes into the match, Pescadores's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Sidro came free, but Benjamin Hitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leon Cresitobalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boca Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Leon Cresitobalo scored to the left of an out of position Miguel Veto, making the score, 0-4. After 92 minutes, Iker Veronica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors and the Pescadores players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iker Veronica hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Miguel Veto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Clodoveo Ralondo. When Vladimiro Sidro came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Sidro couldn't finish the play. Pescadores's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
