Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Cresitobalo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Gasteiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Laferrere's zone, Isaias Esdras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Baraquiel came out of the goal and Isaias Esdras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deportivo Laferrere's Primitivo Baraquiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Santos in the 32nd minute of play. Leonides Gasteiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Cresitobalo in the 35th minute of play. 曲泉亮 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Leonides Gasteiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Rivadavia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when 曲泉亮 came free, but Leonides Gasteiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Laferrere's 方晨洲 got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Cresitobalo couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, 曲泉亮 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Gasteiz. Rivadavia AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 曲泉亮 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
