Severiano Belo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Iaki in the 8th minute. Hugo Chavez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Severiano Belo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Iaki struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Severiano Belo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Fruteros. 14 minutes into the match, Knight's goalkeeper Severiano Belo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Iaki. Aaron Iaki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severiano Belo came out and tried to block the shot, but Aaron Iaki slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. Los Fruteros's Mircho Vezenkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Jakes in the 21st minute of play. If Aaron Iaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron Iaki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Severiano Belo made a huge save. Aaron Iaki might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severiano Belo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uriel Jakes made a kick off. Los Fruteros's Aaron Iaki got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severiano Belo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Arnau in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Los Fruteros were awarded a corner. Hugo Chavez went to the cornerflag to take it. Aaron Iaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Aaron Iaki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Belo having to interfere. Severiano Belo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Iaki, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Los Fruteros's Arsenio Arnau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Belo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 92nd minute, Marcelino Basualdo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aaron Iaki struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Severiano Belo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Fruteros.
