Danilo Raphael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Peter's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Robustiano Montrell shot from long distance in the 8th minute, but Nestor Libertad was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 11th minute Perugorría AFC were awarded a corner. Ezequiel Lleir went to the cornerflag to take it. Ezequiel Lleir made a great header on Perugorría AFC's corner, it was just that Carboni AFC's Danilo Raphael managed to reach the ball for a save. Victorino Peter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Danilo Raphael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Peter in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Raphael saved Carboni AFC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Nicolas Pelayo could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Nestor Libertad however easily saved by the left post. Perugorría AFC's Nestor Libertad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Urdaspal in the 24th minute of play. The goalkeeper, Nestor Libertad, was totally fooled by Carboni AFC's Cosme Prejun, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 38 minutes into the match, Herminio Urki notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Carboni AFC's Danilo Raphael. Danilo Raphael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the match, Carboni AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Urki came free, but Danilo Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herminio Urki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rosendo Urdaspal made the kick off in the second half. Perugorría AFC's Herminio Urki got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Canor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Raphael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Amadeo Medina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Raphael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Danilo Raphael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Urki in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute Virgilio Koldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Libertad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Canor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Danilo Raphael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Canor couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Carboni AFC's zone, Gilberto Feo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Raphael came out of the goal and Gilberto Feo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gilberto Feo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, Perugorría AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Peter to maneuver through the defense. When Herminio Urki came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Perugorría AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Urki couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Perugorría AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
