Spectators: 0 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnulfo Quintana started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Diego Orkatz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pozuelos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Orkatz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Delmiro Elija fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pozuelos AFC's protests and gave Delmiro Elija a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Delmiro Elija hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Bittor missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 12 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Fausto Esdras right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Quintana in the 16th minute of play forced Pozuelos AFC's goalkeeper Fausto Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Gombal made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sotelo AFC's Arsenio Pepillo. A collision led to Pozuelos AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Elvio Kinsen hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Quintana recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fausto Esdras. Arnulfo Quintana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 27th minute Dalmacio Valiente suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Pozuelos AFC's Abel Rufo was substituted for Dalmacio Valiente. The supporters of Pozuelos AFC booed when Sotelo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Ponc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, Pozuelos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Elija to maneuver through the defense. Abel Rufo scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norino Prats, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Orkatz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnulfo Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Fausto Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Boni in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Nicolas Sein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Nevada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fausto Esdras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Elvio Kinsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norino Prats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes Pozuelos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Rufo. Norberto Leizarraga kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 82 minutes, Abel Rufo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pozuelos AFC and the Sotelo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sotelo AFC booed when Pozuelos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Rufo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Eduardo Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Kinsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norino Prats having to interfere. Arnulfo Quintana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
