The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Locaio to strike the kick off in the second half. Guaberto Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Savier having to interfere. If Anier Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Locaio got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Luján AFC defense, Anier Ipar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Savier. The Luján AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Savier should have stopped the shot. In the 95th match minute, Luján AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Rexino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Poz in the 99th minute of play forced Luján AFC's goalkeeper Geronimo Savier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geronimo Savier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Ipar in the 100th minute of play.
