In the 15th minute, Blas Suero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Quintana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Xeneize getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Melquiades Bilintx hit a great ball. Venancio Goren struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Marcelito Barovero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xeneize. After 30 played minutes SOFLOV got a freekick which was hit by Exequiel Barco. Ciro Quintana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Gartxot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Ciro Quintana put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Francisco Gartxot. If Ciro Quintana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xeneize's Francisco Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Quintana in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute Ignazio Esoin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Paulo Diaz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 48 minutes had been played. Paulo Diaz hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Quintana to make the kick off. Ignazio Esoin hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, SOFLOV's Mario Gutxi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisco Gartxot. Francisco Gartxot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 59 minutes into the game, SOFLOV's Ciro Quintana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Gartxot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Xeneize's Francisco Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Gutxi in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Xeneize was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Iturri to maneuver through the defense. Bernardino Curcio's late challenge caught a Xeneize's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Curcio helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes SOFLOV got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Curcio. Xeneize's Francisco Gartxot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Xeneize from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Ciro Quintana got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bernardino Curcio was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 81st minute, Bernardino Curcio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mario Gutxi fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SOFLOV's protests and gave Mario Gutxi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SOFLOV getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Mario Gutxi hit a great ball. Marcelito Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Goren in the 84th minute of play. In the 90th minute Evaristo Isidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelito Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xeneize's Francisco Gartxot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Xeneize from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded SOFLOV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Xeneize.
