SOFLOV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La noche FC the free kick. The supporters of La noche FC booed when SOFLOV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 played minutes SOFLOV got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Diaz. After some careless play in the La noche FC defense, Ciro Quintana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorino Txatxu. The La noche FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Txatxu should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd match minute, SOFLOV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Wellmann to maneuver through the defense. Ingvar Gustavsson didn't quite understand what happened when in the 44 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.

The wind increased when Ciro Quintana made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, La noche FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Gustavsson to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, La noche FC's Victorino Txatxu got control of the ball when Ciro Quintana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciro Quintana might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorino Txatxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Quintana ran back to his position shaking his head. Eduardo Abeitia made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SOFLOV's Paulo Diaz. When Eduardo Abeitia fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La noche FC's protests and gave Eduardo Abeitia a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes La noche FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Aguirre. 75 minutes into the game, Ciro Quintana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Victorino Txatxu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ciro Quintana came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the SOFLOV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Quintana couldn't finish the play. La noche FC's Victorino Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Diaz in the 92nd minute of play. SOFLOV's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
