With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Azibar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes into the match, Ciro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Manny came free, but Manuel Azibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Váldson Brodel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Azibar. Ciro AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Váldson Brodel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Manuel Azibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Di Girolamo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Ciro AFC's Manuel Azibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Gasteiz in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, PINOCHO's Váldson Brodel made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Azibar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Ciro AFC booed when PINOCHO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Gasteiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Ciro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Brodel came free, but Manuel Azibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Azibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Váldson Brodel in the 27th minute of the match. Dario Di Girolamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Ciro AFC defense, Santo Gasteiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Azibar. The Ciro AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Azibar should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute Santo Gasteiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Azibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsenio Esquipula charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Esquipula the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PINOCHO booed when Ciro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Esquipula didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Azibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Manny in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualterio Mino was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Dario Di Girolamo managed to get in a good position for a shot. PINOCHO's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Di Girolamo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Azibar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute, Santo Gasteiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dario Di Girolamo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Manuel Azibar made a huge save. Manuel Azibar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manuel Azibar made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Dario Di Girolamo sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Azibar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Váldson Brodel in the 79th minute. Diego Charro hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ciro AFC's Manuel Azibar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Ciro AFC from getting a goal against them. When Váldson Brodel came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the PINOCHO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Váldson Brodel couldn't finish the play. The Ciro AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PINOCHO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
