The supporters of POPEYE booed when Decano del sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, POPEYE's Reynaldo Duarte got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute Cecilio Silban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Chepe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Reynaldo Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 9 minutes of play, Decano del sur's Cecilio Silban made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Chepe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodoro Chepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Quintyn in the 13th minute of the match. Decano del sur's Cecilio Silban got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laureano Quentin charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laureano Quentin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. It was a well-played corner which Matias Basajaun managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Teodoro Chepe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Txatxu in the 31st minute of play forced POPEYE's goalkeeper Teodoro Chepe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Decano del sur! Bahadır Sadullah's late challenge caught a Decano del sur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bahadır Sadullah helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to POPEYE getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Bahadır Sadullah hit a great ball. Silvano Herensuge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahadır Sadullah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Chepe came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Decano del sur's Isidoro Quintyn. But to his dismay, Isidoro Quintyn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Laureano Quentin got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In a very dangerous position, a player in POPEYE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Decano del sur a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Isidoro Quintyn, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of POPEYE's Teodoro Chepe. 0-4. If Isidoro Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The POPEYE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Decano del sur were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cecilio Silban to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in POPEYE's zone, Isidoro Quintyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Chepe came out of the goal and Isidoro Quintyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Silban got free with Teodoro Chepe in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, POPEYE's Teodoro Chepe got control of the ball when Cecilio Silban tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teodoro Chepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Quintyn in the 63rd minute of the match. Teodoro Chepe came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Decano del sur's Isidoro Quintyn. But to his dismay, Isidoro Quintyn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. With a little luck, POPEYE's Teodoro Chepe got control of the ball when Enzo Inocente tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Quintyn in the 75th minute of play forced POPEYE's goalkeeper Teodoro Chepe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Isidoro Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Decano del sur's Jonatan Mazuste was substituted for Isidoro Quintyn. Cecilio Silban came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Teodoro Chepe could save by the left post. Jonatan Mazuste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Cecilio Silban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonatan Mazuste could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Teodoro Chepe made a huge save. Teodoro Chepe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Mazuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Mazuste in the 96th minute of play forced POPEYE's goalkeeper Teodoro Chepe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
