Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) POPEYE's Teodoro Chepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Soin in the 3rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as POPEYE's Bahadır Sadullah slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Berart. That made the score 1-1 after 13 minutes of play. Los Colgados's Reynaldo Soin got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hermengildo Oskitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermengildo Oskitz struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Teodoro Chepe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Colgados. In the 31st minute Bahadır Sadullah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Berart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Soin took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Chepe. Teodoro Chepe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Teodoro Chepe came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Colgados's Hermengildo Oskitz. But to his dismay, Hermengildo Oskitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Hermengildo Oskitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Los Colgados booed when POPEYE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Herena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Hermengildo Oskitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Colgados's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Oskitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Chepe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benedicto Tancredo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Reynaldo Soin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermengildo Oskitz to strike the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Soin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Chepe having to interfere. Laureano Quentin kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Hermengildo Oskitz came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Los Colgados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Oskitz couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Chepe was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Hermengildo Oskitz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hermengildo Oskitz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Los Colgados's Reynaldo Soin got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horacio Txatxu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Soin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodoro Chepe having to make a save. Teodoro Chepe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Soin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Reynaldo Soin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teodoro Chepe. The goal made the score 1-5. With an all-out effort, Los Colgados's Teodoro Chepe threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hermengildo Oskitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hermengildo Oskitz kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Colgados walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
