In the 3rd minute, Hector Vitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Tombita fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Tombita's Hector Vitin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Tombita's Fernan Argoitz got a free kick in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Yapeyú's goal looked a bit too open when 楚岩翀 came free, but Javier Calvet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eustacio Amor fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yapeyú's protests and gave Eustacio Amor a yellow card for diving instead. Eustacio Amor hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Hector Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes, Hector Vitin made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Yapeyú's Javier Calvet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Yapeyú booed when Tombita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Felipillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Francho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezequiel Baleren having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Fernan Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tombita's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Argoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Calvet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 played minutes Yapeyú got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Behe. Hector Vitin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Javier Calvet when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Vitin was the one to do the kick off. Tombita's 楚岩翀 got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Vitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Javier Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Behe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tombita booed when Yapeyú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Behe didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hector Vitin came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Tombita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Vitin couldn't finish the play. Javier Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Argoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute Baldomero Behe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Baleren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alfredo Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute, Eustacio Amor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 79 minutes, Esteve Bembe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tombita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Bembe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hector Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Tombita's Hector Vitin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Calvet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Hector Vitin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Calvet was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Hector Vitin sped through Yapeyú's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Javier Calvet. Tombita walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
