Brown de Adrogue's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Onbera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Ebardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Eugenio Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, Brown de Adrogue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Txartiko to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Venancio Quinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Marz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Maximo Peio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd minute of the match Silverio Aragones sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Ebardo skillfully saved the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Alonso couldn't finish the play. If Celedonio Onbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Ebardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Onbera in the 74th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Brown de Adrogue got a freekick which was hit by Adriana Bingen. With a little luck, Brown de Adrogue's Aaron Marz got control of the ball when Freddy Xabier tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Celedonio Onbera sped through Divisadero AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Ebardo. When Venancio Quinton fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Divisadero AFC's protests and gave Venancio Quinton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Venancio Quinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Brown de Adrogue's Adriana Bingen got a free kick in the 97th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Brown de Adrogue had won after a very even match.
