Spectators: 6297 (Terracing: 5297, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Severino Cordero kicked off to start the match. When Americo Chap came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the La Otra Pasión fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Chap couldn't finish the play. After having played for 5 minutes, Severino Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Otra Pasión's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Cordero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Sengrat having to interfere. In the 18th minute of the match Damian Uhin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier Calvet skillfully saved the ball. Javier Calvet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Chap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Benicio Oriol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yapeyú's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Otra Pasión the free kick. A collision led to Yapeyú getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Benicio Oriol hit a great ball. Severino Cordero might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Calvet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severino Cordero ran back to his position shaking his head. Javier Calvet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Calvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Cordero in the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Yapeyú's zone, 范磊剑 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Calvet came out of the goal and 范磊剑 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Javier Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Cordero in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomero Behe to make the kick off. Alfredo Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Sengrat having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Severino Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With an all-out effort, La Otra Pasión's Javier Calvet threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Severino Cordero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Americo Chap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Javier Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yapeyú's Javier Calvet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Cordero in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute Severino Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Cordero struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Javier Calvet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Otra Pasión. Americo Chap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Javier Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Calvet came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by La Otra Pasión's Americo Chap. But to his dismay, Americo Chap quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Javier Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Americo Chap could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Javier Calvet made a huge save. Severino Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Otra Pasión played a much better game than Yapeyú and deserved their victory. The Yapeyú players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
