The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Ricart got free with Hugo Perpinya in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alejandro Edur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Atarratze in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Tomas Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Ramos during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Guillermino FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gaston Ramos hit a great ball. A hard shot 12 in the game by Tomas Franco from a close distance when the talented Hugo Perpinya managed to make a qualified save. Guillermino FC's players were relieved. 14 minutes into the match, Tomas Franco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Perpinya. Guillermino FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Franco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Guillermino FC's Hugo Perpinya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Guillermino FC from getting a goal against them. After 22 minutes of play, Lunes's Tomas Franco made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Perpinya was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Lunes booed when Guillermino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Atarratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Perpinya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Cedro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tomas Franco came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Lunes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Franco couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Guillermino FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Eliseo Oton hit a great ball. If Tomas Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Lunes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Firmo to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Hugo Perpinya managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Lunes's Tomas Franco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eliseo Oton scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Edur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Franco made a kick off. A collision led to Guillermino FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Lorenzo Dominguez hit a great ball. When Tomas Franco got free in front of the goal in the 56th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Hugo Perpinya was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 59th minute of the match Haroldo Gamus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Perpinya showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Lorenzo Dominguez fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guillermino FC's protests and gave Lorenzo Dominguez a yellow card for diving instead. Tomas Franco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Perpinya having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, Tomas Franco notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Guillermino FC's Hugo Perpinya. Hugo Perpinya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute Tomas Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Perpinya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Reynaldo Firmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Firmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 played minutes Guillermino FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Oton. In the 77th minute, Tomas Franco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Perpinya was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After having played for 80 minutes, Pablo Cedro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Cedro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tomas Franco came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Lunes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Franco couldn't finish the play. Tomas Franco might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Perpinya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Franco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guillermino FC's goalkeeper Hugo Perpinya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Guillermino FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Eliseo Oton hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lunes had played much better football throughout.
