Spectators: 7105 (Terracing: 5330, Seating: 1634, VIP seats: 141) Balboa's Anibal Flor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dario Gabrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Casado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pastor Distiratsu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Pastor Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Pastor Distiratsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Gabrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristian Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rodriguez AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Dario Gabrio hit a great ball. Cristian Casado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pastor Distiratsu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Pastor Distiratsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Casado in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Lucio Rico sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pastor Distiratsu skillfully saved the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Cristian Casado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pastor Distiratsu. Balboa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Casado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 34 played minutes Balboa got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Arnas. Balboa's Pastor Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Casado in the 36th minute of play. Pastor Distiratsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Gabrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes, Fermin Arnas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balboa and the Rodriguez AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fermin Arnas kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Dario Gabrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Pastor Distiratsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dario Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Balboa getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Victor Ieltxu hit a great ball. The Balboa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rodriguez AFC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dario Gabrio made a kick off. Pastor Distiratsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Gabrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 64 minutes, Dario Gabrio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rodriguez AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Gabrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Rodriguez AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Iruinea came free, but Arnoldo Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Aristides Cordarrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Flor, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Gabrio in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pastor Distiratsu saved Balboa from getting behind. Cristian Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodriguez AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
