After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Benigno Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sepulturas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Bordat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Chale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anier Chale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Fernandes in the 16th minute of play. After 17 minutes, Aureliano Hitzeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sepulturas FC and the PINCHA CORAZON players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristo Janpier kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Silvestre Oriche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tord Hägg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Iztal in the 36th minute of play forced Sepulturas FC's goalkeeper Tord Hägg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Silvestre Oriche came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the PINCHA CORAZON fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Oriche couldn't finish the play. Tord Hägg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Menendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Anselmo Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Tadeo Amato rounded Sepulturas FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind PINCHA CORAZON's goalkeeper Anier Chale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sepulturas FC's Everardo Txilar got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Anier Turi managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After 90 minutes Sepulturas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anier Turi who took care of the corner kick. The corner led PINCHA CORAZON's Anier Turi to fire away a dangerous shot which Tord Hägg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match was over PINCHA CORAZON could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sepulturas FC throughout the match.
