Jacinto Sindo was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Oscar Orlondon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oscar Orlondon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Kaxen Zayas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Emmanuel in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, ESK LANUS's Modesto Resto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kaxen Zayas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 16 played minutes ESK LANUS got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Corderro. ESK LANUS's Jacinto Sindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Orlondon in the 17th minute of play. Jacinto Sindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Orlondon in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Eleuterio Emmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaxen Zayas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Sportivo Rafaela's Kaxen Zayas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Resto in the 24th minute of play. Kaxen Zayas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Emmanuel in the 34th minute of the match. If Eleuterio Emmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Modesto Resto made a precise shot to the right of Kaxen Zayas. Club Sportivo Rafaela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 39 minutes into the match, ESK LANUS's goalkeeper Jacinto Sindo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Orlondon. The supporters of ESK LANUS booed when Club Sportivo Rafaela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Fonda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eleuterio Emmanuel made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Emmanuel got free with Kaxen Zayas in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Severiano Llorenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Orlondon in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Sindo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kaxen Zayas was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Modesto Resto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Modesto Resto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Club Sportivo Rafaela's Kaxen Zayas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportivo Rafaela from getting a goal against them. Eleuterio Emmanuel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Kaxen Zayas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 80 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Rafaela's goalkeeper Kaxen Zayas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleuterio Emmanuel. ESK LANUS's Jacinto Sindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Orlondon in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Oscar Orlondon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Jacinto Sindo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Club Sportivo Rafaela's Kaxen Zayas got control of the ball when Eleuterio Emmanuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kaxen Zayas made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ceferino Otsando sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th minute, Jacobo Salvino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaxen Zayas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. The ESK LANUS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ESK LANUS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
