Kaxen Zayas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Honesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a little luck, Club Sportivo Rafaela's Kaxen Zayas got control of the ball when Horacio Udalaitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Cuervos Negros F.C.'s Horacio Udalaitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaxen Zayas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Honesto in the 21st minute of play forced Club Sportivo Rafaela's goalkeeper Kaxen Zayas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Oscar Orlondon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Galeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Udalaitz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Kaxen Zayas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 34 minutes, Oscar Orlondon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sportivo Rafaela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Orlondon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inocencio Hori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Orlondon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 63 played minutes Cuervos Negros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Oier. In the 65th minute Andres Fonda managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Inocencio Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Galeno having to interfere. With his leg Baldomiro Galeno managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Club Sportivo Rafaela's Oscar Orlondon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sixto Honesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Kaxen Zayas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Oscar Orlondon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sportivo Rafaela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Orlondon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Club Sportivo Rafaela left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cuervos Negros F.C..
