Spectators: 7115 (Terracing: 5338, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 141) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernardo Urtzi got the match started through his kick off. Saenz Futbol Club's Isaac Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Gines in the 3rd minute of play. Ruperto Lain came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Saenz Futbol Club's Baldomero Bartoli. But to his dismay, Baldomero Bartoli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute Baldomero Bartoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Lain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Urtzi in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Lain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baldomero Bartoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ruperto Lain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bernardo Urtzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 20 played minutes Los Caranchos got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Marin. Ruperto Lain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Bartoli in the 23rd minute of play. Saenz Futbol Club's Isaac Udalaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Saenz Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Urtzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Lain having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Saenz Futbol Club's Baldomero Bartoli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Lain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ruperto Lain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lisandro Caitano during the 49th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th minute, one of Los Caranchos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Caranchos. In the 50th minute there was a penalty for Saenz Futbol Club. Diego Calixto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ruperto Lain. 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Saenz Futbol Club's Bernardo Urtzi got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genaro Kemen kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Saenz Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Kemen to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Benjamin Caradaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Göran Björling kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, Los Caranchos's Ruperto Lain got control of the ball when Bernardo Urtzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermengildo Gines's late challenge caught a Saenz Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermengildo Gines helped the player get up and apologised. Hermengildo Gines hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ruperto Lain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ildefonso Manny's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Ruperto Lain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Urtzi in the 84th minute. Ildefonso Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ildefonso Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Bernardo Urtzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saenz Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Urtzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bernardo Urtzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Los Caranchos getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Maximino Marin hit a great ball.
