Emiliano Mero lost his temper 4 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Saenz Futbol Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Zacarias Hermon placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Freddy Dantae could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Isaac Udalaitz made a huge save. Nicasio Harriet struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. David Victoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saenz Futbol Club. David Victoro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Bartoli went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Baldomero Bartoli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saenz Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Bartoli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Victoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Llorian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Isaac Udalaitz made a huge save. Baldomero Bartoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. David Victoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Saenz Futbol Club's Genaro Kemen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Victoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Rogelio Raebert kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Nicasio Harriet's late challenge caught a Ordóñez AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicasio Harriet helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Saenz Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Harriet. In the 48th minute, Jorge Llorian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ordóñez AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomero Bartoli to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Rios in the 55th minute of play forced Saenz Futbol Club's goalkeeper Isaac Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Udalaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Llorian in the 58th minute of the match. Baldomero Bartoli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Victoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Isaac Udalaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Llorian, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The supporters of Saenz Futbol Club booed when Ordóñez AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saenz Futbol Club's Victor Berto was substituted for Ezequiel Totakoxe. Hilario Tanio hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Isaac Udalaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Rios in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute, Basilio Rivas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Udalaitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Ordóñez AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Saenz Futbol Club for a fine match.
