Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amancio Marques got the match started through his kick off. 12 minutes into the game, Gregorio Lobo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Giovanni Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute, independiente's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gregorio Lobo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Onagoity! When Onagoity's Aurelio Jaume in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye independiente's goalie prevented a goal. Gregorio Lobo in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 40th minute Teodoro Gaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Gaur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Onagoity's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave independiente the free kick. After 51 played minutes Onagoity got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Jaume. In the 55th minute Gregorio Lobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Veremundo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Gaur in the 58th minute of play forced independiente's goalkeeper Giovanni Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes of play, Onagoity's Reynaldo Quinton made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovanni Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodoro Gaur scored 5-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovanni Chaves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teodoro Gaur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giovanni Chaves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Onagoity's zone, Felipe Florin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascual Bazkoare came out of the goal and Felipe Florin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Onagoity's Gregorio Lobo got a free kick in the 98th minute. Onagoity were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of independiente for a fine match.
