In the 12th minute, Adolfo Severo made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Fliz. OJOS CELESTES F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in OJOS CELESTES F.C.'s zone, Carmelo Ramirez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Fliz came out of the goal and Carmelo Ramirez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Nueva Chicago defense, Uriel Illart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Izydor Naujasodis. The Nueva Chicago fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Izydor Naujasodis should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Osorio came free, but Izydor Naujasodis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Severo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Fliz saved OJOS CELESTES F.C. from getting behind. Nueva Chicago's Carmelo Ramirez got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of OJOS CELESTES F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nueva Chicago:s goal. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Nueva Chicago. Isidro Cordarrol stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eugenio Fliz. 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uriel Illart stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Carmelo Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nueva Chicago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Ramirez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Fliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Orixe in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Adolfo Severo notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of OJOS CELESTES F.C.'s Eugenio Fliz. Eugenio Fliz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adolfo Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Fliz having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Adolfo Severo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OJOS CELESTES F.C.'s Eugenio Fliz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Osorio came free, but Izydor Naujasodis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Carmelo Ramirez came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Nueva Chicago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Ramirez couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Severo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 79th playminute. Eugenio Fliz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nueva Chicago's Adolfo Severo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Nueva Chicago's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
