The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tiggeritos FC's Arnoldo Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Urtsin in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Benjamin Errolan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arnoldo Theobald was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Neno Vázquez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. German James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Arnoldo Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Teobald Swoboda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiggeritos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobald Swoboda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Neno Vázquez took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Higinio Atauri to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Teobald Swoboda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiggeritos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobald Swoboda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Atauri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute Neno Vázquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neno Vázquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Atauri having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Errolan was the one to do the kick off. If Neno Vázquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tiggeritos FC's Neno Vázquez got a free kick in the 60th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Tiggeritos FC's Gervasio Elija nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Higinio Atauri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 70th minute, Vidar Hedkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Neno Vázquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neno Vázquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Atauri having to interfere. Higinio Atauri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neno Vázquez in the 91st minute of the match. Higinio Atauri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobald Swoboda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, La Dolfina F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Teobald Swoboda came free, but Higinio Atauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to La Dolfina F.C getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Augusto Larra hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tiggeritos FC fully deserved thier win.
